West London Based
Private Breastfeeding Specialist Midwife
Focusing on providing mums with high quality education and care to support their feeding journeys in ensuring it is a positive experience for mums and babies.
My approach is very calm, non judgemental with the aim to instil confidence in mums in their ability to feed their baby.
Oxytocin is a key hormone in breastfeeding and I like to take away the stress from the situation to make your feeding experience more enjoyable with minimal problems.
My main goal is ensure that you are fully informed in your decision making when feeding your baby and happy with your choices by having me by your side; my support packages come with follow on support as I believe true, quality breastfeeding support involves having someone available to you until the problem is resolved.
I exclusively pumped for 3 months for my daughter, gave her a bottle and then transitioned to breastfeeding and I did this out of choice and what was right for me at the time. Feeding your newborn does not come with a “one size fits all” guide.
There are so many decisions to make, different issues that can occur and different circumstances and many ways to chose from in feeding your baby.
Sore nipples? Low milk supply? Constant feeding? Want to reduce top ups?
Let’s work together to empower and educate you and ensure the best start to your breastfeeding journey.
If you want to be fully prepared antenatally with everything you need to know in feeding your little one or if you are having any feeding issues that you are struggling to overcome, I will work with you to ensure that you are fully equipped to get you closer to the feeding journey you want to achieve.
Whether you would like support in dealing with a shallow latch/ sore nipples, increase your milk supply, transition from breast to bottle or bottle to breast, reduce top ups or just want reassurance all is well, I offer a variety of antenatal and postnatal packages that are uniquely tailored to support your choice in feeding your baby.
